Maria's Healthcare

Marias Healthcare Services, Inc.’s new clinic reimagines a former Shopko building as a modern, patient-centered ambulatory care facility. The interior is organized around generous circulation corridors and shared waiting areas that emphasize openness, visibility, and ease of navigation. Natural light, glazed partitions, and soft color palettes help establish a calm and approachable clinical environment.

Public and clinical spaces are clearly defined while remaining visually connected. Reception and pharmacy areas anchor key nodes, while exam rooms, treatment spaces, behavioral health rooms, and specialty suites are arranged for operational efficiency and privacy. Wood ceiling elements and warm material accents soften the scale of the former retail volume and provide visual continuity throughout the clinic.

Minimal exterior improvements support the interior transformation, including new glazing, signage, and a covered porte-cochere that defines the main entry and improves patient arrival. Together, the design creates a flexible healthcare environment that supports a wide range of services while reinforcing Marias Healthcare Services, Inc’s commitment to accessibility and community care.
